We all know that we are going to die, but that order of knowledge, for most of us, is of the same kind that tells us we are all made of stardust, or that at the core of the atoms in our bodies and brains there is only a void. In other words, our imagination can’t grasp it. It’s just speculation, in this case a frightening one.
Death is part of life. There could be no meaningful life without it. It is part of the same process, a fluctuation of death and life. It sounds morbid. But the battle against mortal disease can never be won because it is a battle against the inevitable. To face our fate is to have the courage to live, even if it means dying a little earlier than expected, and even our families, might perhaps with more kindness than wisdom insist.

We all struggle with insecurities, and because of these inhibitions, we try to justify situations that aren’t right for us. Whether it’s a job, a relationship or a possession, we all have, and continue to, struggled with the uncertainties brought on by our past. It’s more than just physical unease, but the idea that sometimes we feel like we are too damaged; like we’ve been through too much in life.
I’ve realized that you have to learn to let things go; memories that don’t make you smile, things that don’t add true value, and people who don’t make you feel the way you should; happy, loved and beautiful.
You have to close the wounds you’ve been left with; from whatever relationship, traumatic experience or loss of something meaningful to you. You have to close these wounds for yourself, and by yourself. Because if you don’t, you’ll always look back, wishing, wanting and regretting things that weren’t meant to be in the first place.
Don’t be ashamed of your past. Your scars are what makes you beautiful. Your story is one that can and will inspire someone else in this world. You have a purpose to why you exist, why you live, why you breathe, why you were placed in the town or city that you grew up in; to be raised the way that you did. And you deserve better.

If people don’t believe in us, we feel like we are worthless; we feel inferior and out of place. We begin to doubt ourself. For a short time, or a lifetime for others, we try to impress people.
Truth is, when we are different and we are ourselves, we become original, it turns us into who we are. We become one of a kind because we are getting the most out of the talents we were blessed with; opposed to not getting any use of them by being someone we are not.
By being ourselves, we can make an impact in the world by showing it things it’s never seen before. Life finally begins when you start being yourself. Living as yourself.
Soon those who didn't believe in you, those who didn't support you and those who doubted you will one day realize they were wrong. They will begin to tell a tale. They will share a story of you. They will regret not being a part of your life.
Many doubts floated in the air when Batman was all alone. No one believed in him. They said he couldn't make it in the world without his parents. They said he was weak. They called him names. They laughed at his image. But never once did he flinch. Never once did he think he could fail.

There is something inherently fascinating about the dark, about the more morally ambiguous parts of life. It is an attraction that is as organic as the want for a happy ending for we are made of both of the light, the dark and everything in between.
It is also true that most of us spend most of our lives trying to reconcile all the different, seemingly disparate fragments that go into shaping us and our identities, including interacting with and making peace with our dark sides.
It comes as no surprise therefore than we connect with fictional characters that are undergoing similar journeys. The traditional journey that the archetypal hero encounters throughout world mythology in all forms and interpretations before he emerges victorious albeit through considerable trauma, danger and shadows.
"ɪ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ғᴇᴀʀ ᴅᴀʀᴋɴᴇss, ᴅᴀʀᴋɴᴇss ғᴇᴀʀs ᴍᴇ." #kjlpoetry ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Don’t fear the dark, for the night can heal you. Magic in the sky, on land and at sea: a late ramble can give you a new perspective on the world.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. Darkness may be overwhelming but we should not be afraid of it. Darkness should be afraid of us.
Darkness should dread us. By adjusting our perspective and working to make our environment feel safe, a welcoming place, even when the lights are out.
Batman is not fearless. He is just good at suppressing his responses to fear and staying calm in terrifying situations. His deepest fear is himself, specifically his capacity for violence and the monster he could become if he gave in to thoughts of vengeance and broke from his no-killing rule.
Batman is often described as one of the “bravest” DC heroes and bravery is not about being immune to fear, it's about acting courageously despite your fear. That's what Batman does.
Obviously losing a close friend or a family member is something that anyone might fear, but due to the death of his parents, Bruce Wayne is terrified of losing more loved ones. For that reason he often goes into dangerous situations alone rather than risk his Bat Family allies.
It is darkness that fears him. It is the criminals that fear him. Their dark twisted hearts dread his presence. And as his light shines, he unconsciously gives innocent people permission to do the same; to stay strong in the face of adversity. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Thank you @poetry_by_kassie for the superb words in fueling this caption.

That forces him to be more intelligent. Batman must anticipate the actions of foes much more than Superman. It is also extraordinary that Batman is able to leverage his human abilities to "superhero" status.
The Dark Knight has to face adversity and overcome it. That makes him more relatable, and subsequently more trustworthy. He puts everything into a cause he has vowed to uphold since childhood. He stands for justice and freedom.
The Caped Crusader is someone who can achieve great things, not because he was born that way, but because he has paid his dues in the journey we call life. He is someone who doesn’t pretend he can give people the world when he can’t; but who can give them what they want, because he has developed that ability through skill and determination.
The Watchful Protector is the Master Detective. He worked and learned to be everything he is, while Clark Kent was born with everything handed to him. To show what humanity can achieve with work and dedication, the Silent Guardian sets the example, to face the impossible as a challenge and a duty.

poetry_verse_creationGreat work I really agree with this and I almost find similarity and synchronization in character of Batman and Iron man. Both of them lacked superpower unlike their contemporaries and yet reached at the epitome of excellence...

A known fact which almost every soul is aware of. We will all be exposed to many blessings, but hardships and pain are inevitable; so be prepared to face the darkness after light. The causes of sorrow can be many, but what we do in response makes us who we are.
Batman has studied psychology. It was no accident that he created a persona that terrifies criminals, he knows what makes people tick. It's one of his tools, and just as fundamental to being Batman as the utility belt is. He knows what makes him tick too. All his motivation has been amplified by pain and struggle.
He doesn't let go of the fear, pain and rage because it's his edge. It's what motivates him. How many times has he limped and dragged himself to victory when he should have laid down and died? Bitter rage taking over, he uncaged himself from this twisted life.

He battles in the corners of the deep. In the shadows, he defeats the unjust. He brings the rightous into the light.
Some people retreat when darkness falls upon the night. Others avoid the danger; they run away in fear. Batman relishes the abyss. He finds pleasure in eliminating, annihilating and destroying criminals.
Batman didn't choose to stay in the dark. He didn't pick his fate nor does he relish in his constant need to seek justice. He was choosen from the deep, a place no man has ever been before. He was raised from the cold, dark earth to keep Gotham safe. He learned to love the dark and assimilate from it.
And we have learned to do the same in our own interior world. We fear the darkness, the shadows of our lives. We don’t want to be still and sit in the silent night of our fears, terrors; our shame and regrets; our ugliness that is as much a part of our human birthright as is our opposable thumbs and our ability to draw meaning from life. We would do almost anything to not have to spend time in the darkness of our souls.
But the shadows in our world, those moments we’re not proud of, those memories we fear because they bring a grief so overwhelming it might consume us, might eclipse forever the light of our days; those dark thoughts of despair we’ve had, those times when we failed ourselves.
"There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning." #LouisLAmour ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ We all endure life changing situations. These moments may instill fear in us. They can paralyze us from moving forward. Some people may feel that they cannot tread forward. Others gradually lose control and eventually fall off. A unique few however understand the meaning behind the pain. They have faith that the loss will propel them to something greater.
It is these critical, yet important moments that define who we are and how we respond. You will eventually lose something that is important to you. It can be the end of a great friendship, the undoing of an important job, the passing away of a loving pet, being defeated in a big game, the failure of a special relationship, the deterioration of one's health, the loss of a treasured object, the death of a significant person or the demise of one's plans, hopes and dreams.
You might be feeling anxious and lost right now. If so, be reminded this day, this moment, that you are where you are because there are mysteries of life that life itself wants you to discover. Do not miss this moment. Do not run from what you’re experiencing. If you do, know it’ll show up again, somewhere, sometime, perhaps in a different operating room. But, the surgery of your soul must occur. You cannot anesthetize your way through it, either. It will be painful.
Through it, however, I know on this side of recovery, I can make you this promise, with confidence: You will find your real self, your eternal self, the point of human existence, the point of your existence. You will discover the secret to happiness, your happiness. Your new beginning.
She was never afraid of his darkness or the demons who danced in his eyes. He thought no one could ever love him if he revealed what lurks inside. He always knew he was different, how could anyone understand? But she was never fearful of his darkness or the bat within him. #BeautyAndTheBeast ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ ➖➖ ➖ She remained patient, while all the others left. She remained humble, while all the others gave up. She remained understanding, while all the others judged. She understood every beat of his heart, when all the others misunderstood.
She had no fear, knowing what was hidden in his mysterious heart. Without any doubt, she loved him for who he was, a gentle soul concealed behind a raging mask, only to be discovered by the one who showed no trepidation. She never gave up. She stood tall in the face of adversity. She remained calm at the sight of tribulation.
Nothing lasts forever. All journeys have a beginning and an ending. Every hero that is born will also meet his final destination. As much as we might sometimes want, we have to remember there is an end to everything.
Batman was determined to only live until he made a positive impact in people's lives. He knew that he couldn't live forever, so he made the best of his time on earth to help others and make a difference for the good of the people and their future.
Batman’s weakness isn’t kryptonite, silver, or some otherworldly thing: it’s his own, very human nature. And that’s part of what makes him so compelling. Sure, Batman sometimes acts as a savior stand-in. But for the most part, he’s not a Messiah figure. He’s us.
He is part vengeance and the night. His unfathomable rage comes from his childhood memory, a harsh rude awakening of the realities of life. He dwells in darkness, his psyche is combined in Ego, Persona and the Shadow. Like many of us, not only does he battle his inner demons but he also fights external forces to protect what is right.
Today we face so many threats from the world we live in. But the biggest fear comes from within… the fear to fall. Even the most non technical analysis tells us that the main reason behind this fear is not the fall itself but being witnessed by the whole world while we fall.
Many of us work day in and day out to top the list of the performers in our chosen fields, and try to make ourselves conform up to the standards the world expects from us. There are many others who do not care about the world though, but are still working relentlessly to achieve their set goals. The thought of any fall in the way to success for both gives them jitters since it seems to have a potential of eventually culminating in a failure.
