A Calling of the tides
Must love choose us,
and guide us through it's dark alleys,
let us follow it quietly and calmly.
And patiently let us seek to be,
the lovers who rise and fall into and above each other.
Let us reveal our shadows to one another
and let us be free and still,
like the great Sea and the wise Shore.
Aye, let us be like the Shore
and welcome ever what the Sea brings
when she is roaring high among the tides
Or weeping silently in dark hours.
Let us ever be the chest she puts her head upon
and give strength to those she brings to us lifeless.
Let us be quiet, patient and thoughtful
Let us caress each other
in every little blends and every little fairwells
Let us sing and roar,
Let us be fearless and brave
Like the Sea, like the Shore
Let us love, and know love.
