Behind the cash register, I noticed that I didn’t feel frustrated, melancholic, or empty. While helping a guess, I mentally stepped back and studied how I felt. To my surprise, I didn't feel the hollow happiness that leaves soon after the fun is over. I felt that familiar yet foreign state of mind known as joyful. It was a melting pot of satisfaction, peace, and happiness. I can't describe much more than that. I would love to experience that more often!
