Love and transformation
Once upon a time, there lived two caterpillars, who used to sit all day long in the cool green shade of a dill plant, that the kind gardener had planted for them, eating away at it. One caterpillar started chewing on one leaf, while the other was nearby chewing on another branch. They chewed and chewed, as caterpillars typically do, never stopping.
As both caterpillars chewed they eventually found themselves face to face. This happened quite a few times, until there were no more branches for them to chew. After this, they began to feel sleepy and content in eating so much, so they started to talk of caterpillar things, life and love.. having quite a joyful time.
These caterpillars where exceptional, meant for greatness and they didn't even know what was in store for them. As it was getting dark, they decided it was time to say goodnight. However, in the night something something happened and both catapillars underwent a pull for change and transformation within themselves.
It is an interesting place to be when the universe calls on us to change and grow. To give in and release to it's will. You can fight the transformation, but it will come regardless. It is your life purpose to transform, so you too may add beauty to the world.
So feeling it was their time, the caterpillars separately anchored themselves and yielded to their natural instinct to transform. However, as the cacoon formed the girl catapillar began to settle in and a feel warm it began to think. She thought of her boy catapillar friend and hoped he was doing well out there. She realized he may wonder why she is hiding from him, here within her cacoon, though she had to go, she hadn't told him where or for how long.
As the days went by she missed her friend very much and thought of all the times together and wondered what he was doing off somewhere else. And as she felt a pull to reach out to him and come out of her cacoon, her body began to change and morph. Paralyzed and bound to a state of transformation, the girl catapillar surrendered to the need to just be free. She allowed her mind, body, heart, and soul to melt into oneness of everything and nothing at the same time. She let go until she was nothing that had ever resembled her old stubby self, in any way. As the cacoon opened, she slowly unraveled herself, feeling movements she never had felt before, everything felt new.
At first she felt uneasy with her new body, unsteady on these things, wings? Who was she now? What was she? Suddenly the fear came over her. What if her catapillar friend no longer recognizes her?! So with renewed vigor to find him, she spread her wings, pumping them, feeling them for the first time, ready for flight.
As she flew she felt so amazing, the wind under her wings, soaring through sun rays. She dipped low and fluttered near the dill plant, but sadly couldn't find her friend. She could see her cacoon, which had held her away for so long, but not him.
Suddenly behind her she could hear and feel the flutter and beat of wings. Taking off in flight, in the sudden suprise, the two butterflies found themselves fluttering together in circles. As they played and flew about each other they realized they were the caterpillars each had been looking for. However, they no longer were caterpillars, they were butterflies.
So together in butterflies fashion they fluttered, bringing beauty everywhere and aiding creation in bringing goodness and joy wherever they fluttered for the rest of their life. :)
