The Demon of Love
“Why do I fall in love with every woman I see who shows me the least bit of attention?”
Spotless in thought,
Eternally in my mind,
Jim Carrey warned me.
Desire in doom,
Thoughts piercing of you.
Pushing my fingers into my eyes,
I grip the bridge.
Shaking my head, I open my eyes and let go of the pain.
The blur in front of me becoming clearer,
A wicked grin with flapping wings.
Cupid flies above me.
“Get the hell away from me.” I exclaimed.
He smirked as he pulled back on his bow.
So, I ran.
Cupid then shot the arrow
Missed me by so narrow.
Only for him to pull his .44 Magnum out of his diaper.
Covered in shit,
He pulled back on the trigger,
And asked me a query of luck.
It blew me away like Dirty Harry.
