I feel like
To be set free, to open my wings.
To take a deep breath,
and then forgive.
To run amok and never stop.
To lie still and dissolve in the earth.
To talk to trees about legends old.
To teach the grass how to walk.
To see the sand fly so far,
To take my heart in a desert wide,
Where lives a woman, young and strong.
To tell her she's free to go,
And leave the world if she wishes so.
Or travel far to see the sea,
And devour it and then stride in.
To tell her that to reach it,
Don't follow the rivers, but follow her heart.
So she may get lost
and then find wonders.
Long cherished and long forgotten.
To tell her not to be afraid,
But to talk to every man who was made,
By the one on whom she must have faith,
Who writes her destiny, making mistakes.
Mistakes or lessons - whatever you say.
Important they are in one's tirade.
And to live bold and to take pain,
As a thing necessary, not vain.
And when the time is for her to go,
Tell her to smile wide,
Because I would be there waiting,
