To Forget You
Some nights I let my fingers bleed,
Nights that are calm but violent,
When my heart has only the silence,
You left in my blood, heart, and fingers to bleed.
I throw empty glares on these lights,
See them Trying to light up grim, dark nights.
Nights that were watching out all our stories,
Where I watched you shimmering, that sight.
I wish like a bird to take off and away,
Where you can never find me and say:
I belonged to you once back in the day,
But in here and now, never, nay!
And some nights I let my fingers bleed,
And I play to forget you but miss you in deed...
