Moon, the reflection of the Sun
Every night, among the trillion stars, she walks across the sky
To remind us that the Sun is on his way,
to burn all the darkness into ashes.
But why? Why consider dark night with the dazzling stars, with the magnificent Moon, something to run away from?
I don't really understand wanting to be The Sun always.
Sometimes, being just a reflection, a tranquil reminder, that we don't always need to burn to be alive, is the thing which helps us live.
With all the craters on the Moon, all her imperfections, her days when she's not even visible, she feels so real. So beautiful. So magnificent.
Moon's not just about her beauty, she's about accepting flaws. About imperfections being beautiful. About being dependent on people you love, there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their nightmares, their share of weaknesses, fears and disappointments.
After all, flaws make things real, beautiful. Not perfect, but that's exactly why beautiful.
