River of Time
Time is a river, that keeps on flowing,
No matter what you do, it keeps on going.
You can't control it, nor stop it for you,
It will flow straight, no matter how you rue.
You can't reverse it or just skip a portion,
Cause, this, my friend, is not science- fiction.
We have to live through it all, slow and steady,
We have to fight to live, always be ready.
Time is precious, they always say,
Don't waste it, not even a single day.
Yet we waste time, doing stupid little things,
And then regret it all, when our bell rings.
The bell that marks the end of our days,
Its time to leave, time to part our ways.
So, don't you worry about wasting your time,
Or using it correctly, its not a crime.
All of us go at our own little pace,
With life, with time, you don't need to race.
Use your time, that you have been gifted,
To do what you love, let your spirits be lifted.
Let yourself go, to the flow of this river,
I promise, you will regret it never.
