I've fled in the night,
Wandering lost without a sight,
The moon calls my name,
When I stood under a cherry tree,
As it began to rain,
The moon knew of my loneliness,
It howled echo's in my ear,
Speaking to me, "have no fear"
The moon was my only friend,
Knowing the depths of me within..
I wish I was like the moon,
Stars each by my side,
Flickering, lighting up my sky.
The moon had its own friends,
All alone I was, I prayed to the moon,
"give me hope to be just like you"
The moon sent me a lullaby,
It was familiar to my brain waves,
"oh my love.." unchained melody, it was..
I thought that,
The moon knew just the tune,
To inspire my delicate soul,
Letting fate to lead me to you,
Maybe the moon knew him to,
Telling him just what to do,
"Call out, reach, find her,"
"Make her hear the tune you mean by heart,
You have no idea, right now,
She's been falling apart,
She stands lonely in the dark,
Crying under wood and dead leaves,
Praying to me to tell you how she felt,
Stranded in the rain mixed with her tears,
She felt like she truly needed you,
Just you she said.
It scared her to feel this way,
She always said she was ok,
Stronger by herself,
But down on her bloody knees she falls to me,
She craved only one love that makes her feel safe,
One she felt sick and weak without,
Knowing that destined feeling she couldn't doubt!
That in her lifetime true love awaits,
It's gonna be you and her,
For the rest of your days.
As she hoped maybe you felt the same way."
Thank you moon.
