The tears of my mother are flooding the rivers
The thought of her pain just gives me cold shivers
The marks on her breasts, made by my brothers
The aftermath of destruction, hidden by my sisters
She was once so beautiful, equivalent to none
But now, not so more, since her smile has gone.
Fire burns her hair, bringing beauties end to near
Thoughts allude her mind, filling her head with endless fear
What can I do mother, to end your suffering?
So I can wake once more to the songs that you sing
Must i turn on my brother? Must i turn on my sister?
For if it wasn't for them then you wouldn't be bitter.
Your children locked away in cages to be laughed at
No recollection of their past primal defensive combat
My tears, join yours mom, for there is nothing i can do
All i want is for your eyes to become beautiful blue.
Not the grey it is now, from the smoke that we brought.
Or the emptiness it holds, for all the children we've caught.
