That one person
All around me I see bustling energy and hustling motivation,
What I don't see is real emotion.
It is good to see people dancing and enjoying,
But I sense something is hidden which is annoying.
Boisterous laughter, partying and cocktail blend,
But still eyes hold question when will the search end.
The lips are sharing happy and funny stories,
But hearts die to whisper the close to heart sad stories.
People loudly share success and motivation,
But they're scared to even utter their failure and depression.
Days pass so fast they cannot be catched,
But the nights are are so slowly the speeds can't be matched.
People receive claps, pat on back and a high five,
But sometimes the head simply wants a shoulder to cry.
Now when people are ready to cut throat for competition,
People are also willing to show their vulnerable position.
But not to the world they are pretending for,
But only to that one person they are looking for.
Because they know that while the world pretends to be their for them,
They know that this one person would actually be there for them.
But what amuses me that while everyone is looking for that one person
No one is trying to become that one person!
