Getting Used To You
And suddenly, You are mine,
Mine to keep, it's you I seek.
From the get go I felt it
That connection, what they call a spark.
But what most don't know is
That I would've won you over, albeit eventually.
After months of looking for you
Searching for you, thinking about you.
Weeks I spent researching,
What it would be like,
To hold you
To feel you
To run my fingers across that sleek front.
Shivers went down my spine
That's how impressive you are to me.
And when the world sleeps,
I'm lost within you.
No matter how random, absurd or even grave
You're there as company.
I'm never lonely amidst you.
I'm so much into you.
I think I'm in love with you.
But, oh that depressing But.
Of late I've been whimsy
I forget things that help me survive.
I've been stupid enough to let things slide.
I want to play with you for a lot longer
Maybe till the end of time.
But my love, that will be possible,
If only I can find my charger.
