Then there's my parallel universe
Where I live nowadays
Where I beg to myself
To free 'it' —
From all the illusions.
From all those lies, and all the melancholy.
From the mirage of transient happiness.
From the rattrap of materialistic longings.
From the desires of a love, just temporary.
From the view of those scars which the mask couldn't hide.
It is difficult to return back
to this universe, from that.
I know it. But I also know,
when I would return,
even this Universe would have changed.
More beautiful, more real, more serene.
The heart would pick a new beat,
the love will redefine itself,
Life will take a new road,
a less chosen one.
That would be the time,
When this universe and the other will meet
When reality and imagination will collide
When time will stop, just to watch this moment,
To watch life smiling a little more
To watch a 'soul', alive, after ages.
