My Happy Place
Waves crash against the shore. Seagulls squak overhead. There are sounds of children squealing with delight as they chase fiddler crabs back into their holes. Others build sand castle dreams. We walk together, hand in hand along the sandy beach. We stop. You look down and smile at me, and for a moment all is quiet. All I know at that very moment is a feeling of being the most happy I have ever been.
