O Solitary Guardian of the Night
O Solitary Guardian of the Night!
Arise, Awake, Alight
Yourself, drift not into aimless blind flight!
Like Apollo, steady, ever bright,
An eternal cacophony of plight;
May you persevere, ever after that Night!
O Angel of the Heaven Unseen!
Whose halo adorns all meadows green;
For once of your wand I beg to be weaned;
For the crimson river flows, and unstopped has been;
All praises in this world cannot raze your conscience clean;
Even you, O Angel of Heaven Unseen!
O Keeper of All Truth, beware!
What you coveted most now lies, her flesh bare!
Haphaestus, unconvinced shall stare!
As the sparks of an eternal flare!
And not a soul, neither worthy nor shall dare!
To extinguish The Flare of Truth!
