Hovering over some distant land,
I saw a girl and the boy that night.
Sitting on a grassy hillside,
Silently looking at Luna so bright.
I came down, closer, by their side,
Fascinated by their love I saw.
It felt so warm, so calm, so light,
I recalled my distant memories of awe.
Invisible, I loomed in thin the air,
Smiling at the couple in love.
My silent voice blessed them happiness,
As I slowly started to rise above.
I was like them, in the life I lived,
Nothing did I fear under the sun.
I too had someone to love all the time,
I only wished her and I to be one.
Never did we meet but still we talked,
Through letters we sent on pigeon's feet.
We wrote our song we sang all day,
The tale about the day we meet
The sun would be bright, yet it would be cool,
The flowers would shine in the brightest hue
The leaves will sing a poetry of us,
Rhyming about our love so true.
Cursed was my fate, I think it was,
Because the day never came.
For someone had spoken lies of sins,
And I was framed for the blame.
The world went dark and cold so quick,
I couldn't understand the change of heart.
She went away from my life forever,
My story ended before it could start.
I still don't know the sin I did,
After years of trembling in pain.
The loneliness grew into isolation,
Ensuring that I never breathe again.
My heart was weak, I could not bear,
The distance between her and me.
It stopped to beat one silent night,
And my soul left my body free.
Out of the dream, I saw once more,
Luna shining in the winter sky.
The memories had hurt me again,
Would have screamed in pain, if could I.
Floating over the blooming love, on the hillside,
Upon the boy fell a tear, from my hollow eyes.
The couple looked up, startled by the drop,
But all they saw, were the dark cloudy skies.
