Sitting here on my chair,
Thoughts crosses my mind,
Feeling this cold wind,
As the life rewinds.
Watching the dogs play in rain,
As I sip my warm tea,
Feeling the ease in heart,
Wondering if same it will forever be.
I see kids enjoying the rain,
Making and sailing paper boats.
The innocence makes me smile again,
As the feeling of happiness floats.
How pure and innocent it is,
The mind and heart of a child,
Filled of only love and care,
No traces of greed or are wild.
What changes upon time,
As we grow up old,
Filling the once pure heart,
With the lies and souls being sold.
Filling up the minds of each other,
With lies and unreal beliefs,
No care for the aftermath,
When the truth will make those lies leave.
How am I, am I the same,
Am I like others, more and more I pondered,
Believing I am better, I don't wear armor of lies,
But does it makes me better in a world seeking lies, I wondered,
Care and honesty are underrated
As the their true meaning are dwindling,
We have become blind to reality by
A sugar coated line of lies called flirting.
Everything suddenly disappear,
As the rain drops falls on my eyes,
Holding an empty cup now,
World has changed I realised.
How great the world be,
If we could just live free,
Open up our mind truly,
And be happy what comes be.
