The Dark Coffee Cup
You have visited me after so long,
Let me pour a cup of coffee for you,
Hot as the ails of my wrenched heart,
Darkened by the hues of my scars,
Volumized with the ocean of unshed tears and suffocated dreams my heart holds,
Sweetened by the aches and abuses that I have surpassed these many years,
The fumes rising high are my silent screams searching for you, but then disappeared in the cosmos for you were nowhere,
It's no longer that raw and nascent one once you had fallen in love with.
Before lifting the cup,
Your heart holds the courage to taste the suffuses of my past journey imbued with pain.
If still my coffee delights you the same,
then I am all yours till eternity.
