Trust me with your pain,
I indulge in them voluntarily,
Not to bask in your sorrow,
Just to watch you smile at the end,
That is my job!
I trade your pain for a happy memory,
I like leaving people smiling.
Pain does not crown a pilgrim;
Happiness does not dawn upon the jesters.
So take my smile as you go along,
I'll take your angst,
Your secrets are mine till I die,
My smile is yours for this while,
Fear not of losing it to time;
I'll return if I must.
Your pains are mine till the graves,
My smile is yours to keep.
