The word u preach day after day.
But when I look at my ancestors the black race was unwanted,
Ridiculed and looked on with disgust.
My melanined skin, my afroed hair, all gifts of my ancestors, great people no longer here.
In schools today they teach us of how we were abused, neglected and mistreated.
No! Teach me of the success and the power my people gained, not of how they were mistreated and put to shame.
Today, a black girl or boy is put to shame because of their skin and mane.
Mr. Equality, actions are louder than words,
And your actions show nothing but an attitude so cavalier against people who only desired to be free here.
