When I'm for you, I am all for you and letting go is hard to bare.
You would have sworn that hell should have froze over by now. Times two.
Dagger saphire lenses that pierce so deep. You'll try not to stare. Stumbling in fear that you'll get caught up in this blazing fire. When the smoke has cleared, I'll leave claw marks down your back as you are trying to pull away. And bite wounds embedded in your flesh to remind you that you want to stay. Clocks will tick and hands will land but time will never stop. Rain will fall grazing your unclothed skin. Wind will blow upon your face. City lights will wear the winter night.
And then you will remember me.
When I'm for you, I am all for you.
And letting go is hard to bare.
Remnants of my voice
will breathlessly linger in your ear.
I can be hard to just forget.
When I'm for you, I am all for you. Letting go is hard to bare. But when i'm done, I'm truly done. When hell freezes over is when I go backwards.
And you would swear hell should have froze over by now... Times two.
Eye contact will be obsolete. These flowing blues will turn to fridged ice.
You will have but your own thoughts to defile. And I won't pray for you.
The Sahara Dessert between my thighs, turned the North Pole in
my mind. And I won't see you. No longer blinded by your hurt or choking on your lines. I will not entertain you wanting me back nor regretting this
loss you chose. I can't hear you. (Yes, it will be you who chose) It almost
always is. And that is what slowly kills them. When i'm for you, I am all for you. Letting go is hard to bare.
But when I'm done,
I'm truly done.
I will go backwards. Only for you.
When hell freezes over. Times two.
