Just like you and me.
Everybody's talking about respecting women
Because she's someone's daughter,
Why can't we respect them
On the very basis that they're humans,
Just like you and me?
Does she have to be someone's somebody
To not to be looked down upon?
Is it the same other way round?
Do we respect men because
They're someone's husband,
Or someone's father?
Respect women because they're humans
Because they're being themselves.
Because everybody should be respected.
Because they contribute to society as much as men do.
