As I saw the blank look in your eyes,
My heart burnt with the ardent desire to fill it up with my poems of love I'd written for you.
But that desire was soon replaced with an agonising pain as I saw her fill you up with sugarcoated words which you had mistakened as love.
I had written you an entire poem as deep as the oceans.
But, her shallow but sweet words swayed you away.
I still love you, and I don't hate you for loving her instead of me.
Rather I feel sorry for you.
You were blindfolded with the fetish for a beautiful exterior, and you ended up falling in a hollow trap.
