Love or religion
When I finally opened my buccal,
To confess this heart burning feeling.
And religion came,
With all his laws,
Barricading this wavy feeling.
I never asked to be born a Muslim.
You never asked to be born a Christian.
A supreme being is hearkening to our prayers
That I call him Allah.
That you call him the holy trinity,
Should not eclipsed our vitality.
We're all the same,
Whether we are Jesuit or Mohammedan.
