What if on a cold wintry night,
you suddenly remember about me?
A chill might run down your spine,
You might be parched for the warmth
that I had longed for giving you,
You might regret of leaving me alone
thinking the summer outside would be forever,
You might realize that you need me-
And then, you might get out, to find me-
You look for me in never-ending roads,
behind trees, above mountains, deep down in the sea
But you fail to find me there.
Dejected, you then return to your home
Only to discover that I had been here
all the time-
Inking memories, building stories, radiating warmth...
You smile on seeing me; I smile too.
For we knew, we were one and will always be so.
