    Stubborn Sentiment

    A stubborn sentiment did hover earlier,
    It does descend now.
    Lost in the waters of want;
    First, stay
    Then drench
    Then drown.

    I see, in the corner, limitless power;
    Across the room, limitless love
    Hands spread wide across,
    Clasps like claps of a raging thunder.

    No shadow is borne to the love made in dark,
    Yet after, it's silhouette bears a spark.
    While the rains gush with sorrow, I wonder,
    How much can one love and ponder!
    Barter a wink, chortle an answer:
    'As many ways I can fold a paper.'
