“One who does not behave gently is considered to have been deprived of all their good deeds.”—Muslim, Al-Birr: 74
In every situation a believer must remember that kindness and gentleness are qualities of a believing heart. Whether we're dealing with our friends, families, our spouses and children, or even complete strangers we should realize that these qualities are the manifestations of Emaan. And taking this for granted may mean putting all of our good deeds to ruin. This is not a choice for a believer, this is an obligation.
