Whenever I see kids playing around,
I imagine myself as one of them, playing in the same ground.
With all those dirty and muddy hands,
When my bathroom singing seemed to me, as perfect bands.
When there were no worries for studies and fame,
But now, nothing remains the same.
It was the time, when I used to cry and get everything,
But now, even with an ocean of tears, I get nothing.
It was the time, when mom's lap was the best place to rest,
In my dad's eyes, I was the best.
A time when I used to dream high for tomorrow,
When I never bothered about any sorrow.
I crave for that time to come back again,
Once again, I wanna get myself wet in that rain.
In all this race of reaching the zeniths of the sky,
Even a smile one has to buy.
