The winter is on its peak. So is the seasonal flu! With fall in temperature and frosty winds, one is more prone to catch the cold. So, this very interesting incident happened today. One of my friend's mom called up saying she has fever and runny nose with slight soreness in throat. I heard her patiently and asked her to take an anti-pyretic (for fever; paracetamol) and an anti-histamine ( for runny nose; cetrizine). Also advised her to do gargles, have hot fluids and take proper rest for 2-3 days.
After half an hour, my friend called me to talk about her flu. And that's how the conversation went!

There are medical professionals around you who have studied for millions of years and will happily try to cure your ailment. It's our job. Please don't use Google to diagnose your diseases, it will almost always tell you that you are about to die.
