A student of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. A poet from Nigeria
We are motherless We are fatherless but not hopeless
Cardboard lays on the stick We are homeless
From our childhood We know our brotherhood
To them, is sweet To us is thick.
We are ambassador of poverty Crying, day and night on the street
Sometimes, we sleep on the sand In the eyes of big children, they called it our style.
We are unworthy son to the landOur bed beside the dumpster
Having unseen dream like a sky
Our land is full of scary stars Even our mother born like monster Sometimes we are like twister
What if you hear my voice If you listen to the sadness of my voice?
