The Cleave Poem form is an experimental form created by Dr Phuoc-Tan Diep.A Cleave Poem is in two halves; “one should be able to read the left column (what’s in regular font), right column (in bold font), and each line across as a combined thought giving you three distinct poems.”
How to read a Cleave poem?
Simply: 1. Read the left hand poem as a first discrete poem. 2. Read the right hand poem as a second discrete poem. 3. Read the whole as a third integrated poem.
