കടലോളം....

കടൽ ഒരുനാൾ കരയോട് ചേർന്ന് നിന്നപ്പോൾ,
കര കടലിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.....

" നീ നിനക്ക് വേണ്ടി അല്ലാതെ,
എനിക്ക് വേണ്ടി എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന നിമിഷം,
എന്നിൽ നിന്ന് അകന്നു പോവുക.
എനിക്ക് വേണ്ടി എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന നിന്നിൽ,
എനിക്ക് നിന്നെ നഷ്ടപ്പെടും"

പിന്നീട് എപ്പോളോ ആരോ പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടു,
കടൽ ഉൾവലിഞ്ഞു എന്ന്.

അറിയാതെ കാതിൽ കരയുടെ നെടുവീർപ്പുകൾ അലയടിച്ചു.
എങ്കിലും ഒരു സുനാമിക്കു വേണ്ടി,
കര അറിയാതെ പറയാതെ കാത്തുനിന്നു.

Its an end today,
Its a beginning tomorrow.
I could see the ray of new hopes.
I could feel the warmth of new thoughts.
Everything ends for a beginning,
But end accompanies a weep,
And beginning mostly hold hand with a smile.
