Wilderness or drought reminded me of Moses time in the old testament when he roamed in the desert for 40 years. It must be a very trying and frustrating time for him yet it was Gods way of preparing Moses and Gods people to the promised land. Similarly with us today, wilderness is not a good time... however, as inconvenient as it may be, God often use our nothingness so He can fill us with His goodness. This was my inspiration with this poem I wrote while stuck in bed with sinusitis/headache :(.
Life is bound to throw us myriad of challenges; sometimes, more than what we can handle. Caught off card, we may lose our sense of self, balance and perspective then panic as a result. However, realizing that no situation, good or bad is ever permanent, we are then better able to keep our sane and remain steadfast and focus; more on what we can do instead of what we cannot. Not only will this positive mind set save us from losing our self and sanity but it will save us our precious God given lives. With prayer as our indispensable armour and defense, rooted in faith to our Lord mighty God no tragedy we cannot survive! May peace, courage, strength be with us all, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen! <3
Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
One of my most beautiful, memorable, enjoyable and celebrated moments in life are with a few dearest but truly golden hearted, God given friends! We may not always see each other often but it don't mean we love us any less. While many are now living in distant and far away places and most are not even on any social media account, my love for them, no matter what happened will never change! Thank you Lord for the blessings of my earthly treasures called "true" friends... Please keep them in your loving arms and grace always, Amen...
Everyday we are exposed to all kinds of distractions from people, social media, work, personal issues, etc. Without prayer, careful thoughts and considerations the world may lead us astray in ways we do not even realized. I penned this poem as a personal sentiment, hoping to create intentional awareness to the reading public... Please feel free to spread and share. God bless us always! <3
