Gone were the days When people used to be family oriented Rather than tech savvy There used to be weekend funs with friends and family Not the fixed long hour dates with cell phones People used to laugh and cry together Even though we're virtually closer now We're just limited to likes and calls!
Childhood was spent Among the muddy grounds 'Gilli danda' 'hopscotch' and Hide & seek were the ultimates Stealing mangoes from the neighbours garden, Aah! Nothing was more exciting than that And one more thing , We children's were crazy about Our very own avenger, "SHAKTIMAAN" I guess no one can forget him, right?
There used to be tonnes of letters in the desk, Ready to be posted Ready to send the dear ones My love, wishes and anguishes Even though phone had began to take its hold I certainly wanted to cherish The moments of eagerness
The tales of past are never going to exhaust But the people in rush Are never going to await and listen They are busy building their future On the ruins of their past Can't blame them totally ; The legacies are forgotten Now memories are just the dust of past
