Rain
They say surround yourself with someone who you love and there I sit for hours sipping tea
In the rain under the tiny roof of my veranda.
Seems like the rain loves my company too
We both being adamant to not leave each other
And there she falls for hours on end.
Everything in her embrace becomes so fresh and beautiful as if she spells life into these faded souls
The leaves attain the most beautiful shades of green
The flowers wear pearl necklaces on their petals
The soil's fragrance frees my soul of all tiredness and worldly concerns.
But alas, the tiniest of sinshine that falls on my face signals that its her time to leave
I beg her to stay but she leaves her reminiscence as she waves goodbye
The dripping drops of water, the fragrance of soil that still fill my lungs and the falling pearl necklaces off the tips of petals.
The sky is clear again, birds conquer it and the sun melts in it leaving beautiful evening colors.
After a few days when the sky aquires a greyish tint,
I know its time for two lovers to meet again

Since a teardrop made its way
Back into your eye

Not even a sigh

Since you poured every feeling in your diary
When it was just your heart, a pen and a paper and the world seemed lost
When words came out as naturally as they could
