we met in the lane number nine,
He came with some alluring metaphors
to scribble a verse.
He stopped near the sonnet
and looked at me with a wide smile,
I scrawled a haiku
with my pleasing grin.
He came towards me
and wrenched my waist towards him
with some bewitching lexicons
I looked at the naughty moon
who was playing with clouds.
He caressed my curly hair
and I wanted to ensnare him with those ringlets
Slowly slowly my neck was bending
& his searing lips wanted to nuzzle mine.
Suddenly I saw
an immense flash of lightning
And hid my face inside his jacket
but that damn jacket
didn't want to scribble anymore.

Every path and every road
brings me to some distant shores,
yet my eyes still found it
an invisible string of love
always follows me.
Inside a dark web
and a deep sea,
I gasped for breaths,
suddenly I see
crepuscular rays of light
always beholding me,
I survive, as an invisible cord
always ventilated me.
Sometimes as the shade of a tree,
Sometimes as the sweet taste of tear streams,
Sometimes as the gurgle of gigantic sea,
An invisible string of love
always follows me.
As I sit in silence and think,
someone caresses my hair
and touch my cheeks,
a kiss of spring
and the silent zephyr of wind,
she awakens me
whenever I lost in deep sleep.
Her sempiternal presence
in everything I am and I see,
connects me to the heavenly realm,
like the shower of her grace and innocence
in the twinkling stars and the shining sea.
Every path and every road
bring me to some distant shores,
yet my eyes still found it

Scars
My mind leads me to believe
that my skin is a canvas
that I can scrawl on it
like a journal I can revisit and add to:
no wonder I like my
hoodies and my full sleeves.
My friends tell me
that my words feel beautiful,
but I can't really tell japes
from compliments:
sad, really, but oh well.
Once every day
I'm forced to look
to look at my work
my masterpieces:
verses and prose
and an occasional quartet.
I fear that my words
are not mine to read;
I don't comprehend
the reasons behind,
nor the depth.
I scratch and screech and
utter utter gibberish:
and the audience applauds.
Someday, I'm afraid,
I might run out of space
I might have collected far
too many memories.
That rugged old canvas
is a hot mess of obscenities now.
Sometimes I fear I fear too much.
I hope to shed
the covers someday, though
To be like the wind:
unbothered and unwavering
ephermal and forgetful.
I hope to transcribe
my scars someday:
To be like
Bukowski, Neruda, Poe
someone of that lot.
For my soul still
lacks the fingerprints of my demons.

I hear the wind calling
Names upon parchments old
See the dead flowing numbers untold
No goodbye kisses nor hands to hold, deaths a lonely passage, cold.
I hear the trumpets sounding
The angels resounding
In hopes God's unsealed the seals
For the times are changing
And doom is ranging
Or so it seems it feels.
There's been trumpet sounds in the sky
All around this earth
Are the seven angels calling for all their worth
Is the time now at hand, look around and see
There's no where to run, no where to flee
We see the world's changing, greed is at the fore
we feel deep inside that heaven
Hasclosed to us it's door
Is it just an illusion
A simple delusion
That a poor body like me
Looks upon the horizon fixed to see
Heaven celebrating the ends jubilee.
