    It’s been long
    I convinced my heart
    To stop crying for you
To not shed tears for the love
    That was never real!

    But today I found myself
    Shedding incessant tears
    Watching a movie;
I shed tears reading a book
I cried listening to song of love!

    No, no! It’s been long
    I convinced my heart
    Not to cry for you
    Not to cry for love!

    The stage is set:
The sun is the right hue of orange
    Almost dipping low
    For shadows to grow longer
The twittering birds are safely nested
    The noisy wind of afternoon
Has been turned low, you can hardly see
The leaves move now, but feel!
The cold brushing slightly on your cheek
Put your head on its lap
Fix your gaze on the sun
    Let it rest its fingers
    Lightly touching your skin
    Feel the poetry
    Rising from the pores
of the soul of the world
    That lies still!

    Why must we die
    You, me and all
    Why?

    Don't give me
    The biological degeneration data
    Chemical disintegration facts
    And other statistical reasonings.

    Tell me, why must
    We vacate our
    Half a broken dream;
    Why must we fall
    In the steely hands
    Of time?

    Just Bloom~

This world may seem bad or it may seem too good for you to dwell in but darling, there is no other place you can take root. ‘Cause remember, this is the very place you smiled your first joy,
This is the very place you cried your first pain
And both your smile and tears have dropped down on this same earth where you stand with your uncertain breath.
Move a little further away from that marshy spot of delusion. Maybe, while you are on the move, move away from the dry land of hate too. And add the ocean of all that has grown thorns and splinters to puncture your secret hidden in the folded blankets of your tiny heart.
Then, feel those tiny seeds of hope sprouting from the tip of your toes and spread out like a full grown tree. Face up, to the sky, where many answers lay buried and allow your eyes to bloom the wildest and the most fragrant flower of life~

    You left
    And I was left
    With a jagged relationship
Not knowing if I should call it
    A break-up!

    I belong to the generation
    Whose mothers spanked one
    If one accidentally fell down
    Scrapped oneself and wailed!
    And the harder one wailed
    Harder the spanking!

...and you think your fake love
    Would break me???

    Today I met Death
    Riding silently
    To take me
    On this solitary journey
    But before I go
    Let me leave
    All those unsaid words
    Wrapped in silence
    Here for you,
    Listen to them
    Long after I'm gone~

    On the day
    You freed me
    I understood
    What being free
    Actually means~

On the day I had it slain
    I understood, that,
    my expectations
    Were my greatest enemy
And not the ones who didn’t fulfill them!

    Not every poet writes
    To be heard;
    Some just write
    To silence
    The cacophony
    of their heart~
