Community Guidelines

Short Version

We want Mirakee to continue to be a home to its Mirakeeans, a safe place to vent and share ideas and emotions. Help us in keeping this family clean and positive. Post only your own original content or add credits in case you quote someone else’s work. Always follow the law. Respect all Mirakeeans and Mirakee team and spread positivity. Do not spam people, post nudity, spread hate speech or harass people. Promote optimism and good vibes. Strictly follow the community guidelines at all times.
While using Mirakee, it is important to keep in mind this value above all others: be understanding of the fact that this platform is used by a diverse group of people belonging to different countries, different age groups and show respect to others so that we all may continue to enjoy Mirakee for the paradise that it is. Please read these guidelines carefully.

Long Version

Mirakee consists of a diverse family of different cultures, ages, and beliefs. As a member of this strongly-knit community, it is the responsibility of each one of us to protect this community by following the Community Guidelines mentioned below. By using Mirakee, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Use. Not following the guidelines or Terms of Use may result in deleted content, disabled accounts, or other restrictions.

  • Share only original content

    You own the content you post on Mirakee. Post only authentic content, and don’t post anything you’ve copied or collected from the Internet that you don’t have the right to post. If you are sharing someone else’s content, please make sure to credit the original writer or mention the fact that you are not the original writer of the content.

  • Post content and photos that are appropriate for a diverse audience

    We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but we don’t allow nudity on Mirakee. This includes photos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples. Mild nudity in photos of paintings, doodles, drawings and sculptures is allowed.

  • Do not spam

    Help Mirakee stay spam-free by not artificially collecting likes, followers, or shares, posting repetitive comments or content, or repeatedly contacting people for commercial purposes without their consent.

  • We do not provide the promotional service of reposting

    Mirakee does not provide the service of reposting. Our responsibility is limited to providing a platform to create, design and consume content, also supporting interactions and connections amongst writers and readers. Mirakee does not have any obligation to repost/promote your content.

  • Follow the law

    Mirakee does not allow any content supporting terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. Offering sexual services, buying or selling firearms and illegal or prescription drugs is also not allowed (even though it may be considered legal in your region).

  • Do not post misleading or false information

    Why mislead? Speak the truth. Do not post misleading/false information against any user or individual or organisation on Mirakee. Check your sources. Do not spread unnecessary hate. Instigation based on false information against the community/Mirakee will not be accepted.

  • Be respectful of other members of the community

    We want to build a positive community. We do not allow content that contains credible threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated unwanted comments. It's never acceptable to promote violence or attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases. In case hate speech is being shared to challenge it or to raise awareness, we may allow it but even in such instances, we ask you to express your intent clearly. We also do not permit any threats of harm to public and personal safety.

  • Be thoughtful when posting content about events

    As Mirakee is used by many different people and age groups, we may remove photos of intense, graphic violence to ensure that Mirakee stays appropriate for everyone.

  • Block the negativity out

    You may come across content that you don’t like due to any reason, though it doesn’t violate the Community Guidelines. Or you may encounter some people on Mirakee who criticize you/your content, are rude to you or you simply do not like them. If that happens, you can unfollow or block the person. If there is something you don't like in a comment on one of your posts, you can delete that comment. Various disputes and misunderstandings can be resolved directly between members of the community. If your content was posted by someone else, you could try commenting on the post and asking the person to delete it. If that doesn’t work out, you can file a report through the in-app reporting system. Don't target the person who posted it by posting screenshots and drawing attention to the situation because that may be classified as harassment.

  • Be respectful to the team

    The Mirakee team will always be there to help you and support you, you know we love you. Our community is family to us. However, abusive, spammy and harassing e-mails to the team will result in your e-mails being moved to Spam. Remember the team behind Mirakee is made up of real human beings. Mirakee only removes accounts and posts that are not following our Guidelines and Terms. It's important to remember that Mirakee does not mediate disputes between people who use our service. Please go through the Terms of Use of Mirakee to understand our responsibilities and limitations in our responsibilities.

  • Reaching the team

    As much as we’d like to, we may not be able to resolve each of your queries on the go. For the same reason, we have set up a Help page which encompasses all the queries that you may have. Please access the help page to find your answers. The information is very well categorised for you. In case you have further queries or require more support, you can fill up the forms available on the Help page and a ticket will be raised to address your issue. You may not hear back from us immediately and we may take up to 5 business days. However, depending on the volume of mails that we receive, it may take longer for us to reply. If you mail us with issues that are already covered in the help section, there are chances that you might not receive the response from us due to heavy volumes of mails received by us. We have tried to provide the power to the users to take decision on the basis of their judgement whether to interact with a user or not. Please block any users who are bothering you.

  • Multiple Mirakee Accounts

    You may create multiple accounts on Mirakee however, none of them should breach the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy or Community Guidelines of Mirakee. If one of your accounts has been permanently banned from Mirakee,you may not be permitted to access the Service ever again through any of your accounts.

  • Enforcement of Community Guidelines

    Learn about strikes in the Help Centre under the section reporting system. We have a variety of ways of enforcing our rules, including, but not limited to:
    1. Asking you nicely to knock it off (Strike 1)
    2. Asking you less nicely and temporarily disabling your accounts (Strike 2)
    3. Temporary or permanent suspension of accounts.(Strike 3)

  • Engage in Good Faith

    We are trying to build a healthy community where participants engage with each other in good faith. It’s not appropriate to attack other people on Mirakee. Be polite and do not spread negative comments unnecessarily. Do not mislead other people with false information.
