In kashmir they call battalions for trapping a single brother or philosopher or scholars or the matyers. Are thy expected us weak ones... Yes , we may be weak physically but we are more powerful spiritually beyond their thinking.... They can cut us externally but they can't touch us spiritually.... #kashmiri#wailingmothers#bloodshed#oppression#injustice..
The following piece is dedicated to @nivi07, who inspired me to start a movement I've named "Poets Penning for Peace." If you'd like to take part in this positive effort, please see the most recent post on my @carolyns_challenges account for further information. ♥️♥️
EMBRACE THE RACE by Carolyn Glackin Let me keep this real simple Let me make myself clear It's time to put aside anger It's time to let go of fear
In fact, it's time to embrace The whole human race Before hatred takes over And lays us to waste!
I will not rest easy In the eye of the storm I'm here to discuss this I'm not here to conform
It's ok to be proud Of your gender or creed But please bear in mind We're all red when we bleed
Don't search for more reasons That set us apart Though we have different thoughts We're the same in our hearts
Stand strong in yourself That's important, it's true But also remember None are lesser than you
We come in all colors All shapes and all sizes So why do some feel that They must wear disguises?
No one should ever Have to hide who they are You hail from above My dear, you're a star!
You don't need to be darker Or lighter or thinner My friend, you're divine! You're already a winner!!
Can we talk about skin tones For a moment, at least? After all I've been hearing I'm really not pleased!
What gave you the notion You can judge based on skin? Never mind outer shells Seek the being within!
See, we got this Creator Up above who's divine Who deems every color As lovely and fine
And I'm sure it's offensive To see us this way Add odds with each other At war every day
Our Earthly descriptors Should not cause discrimination It's time to realize We're ONE people! ONE nation!
These matters of country And city and state Are very poor reasons To cause us to hate
Those facts are just fiction Please believe me, please do! Let's not let false dividers Come between me and you!
This world is in chaos It's alarming, it's scary Our minds are conflicted Our hearts are so weary
Our souls long for home The heavens are calling The Creator awaits us So how come we're stalling?
I'll tell you the reason! We're not done here yet! It's time to set this mess right Let's not leave with regret!
Don't put this on others It's our job, and I mean it We ALL made this mess So we ALL need to clean it!
So come on, let's get started Not a moment to waste Time to love one another Let's embrace our WHOLE race! Copyright Carolyn Glackin 6/22/2020

You are so full of curiosity, yet a brilliant thinker.
you really liked talking about a thousand things from the rational matters to the most ambiguous ones that exists in this universe.
and just like that, the way you think and who you truly are is alike; there are also a thousand things so beautiful about you.
a whole lifetime will never be enough to tell the story of all the wonders you hold, and how beautiful you are in every way possible.
Being fair, black and brown You don't care about them It doesn't take you down You are not contagious You stay courageous You just want to bask under The shining sun!
Color doesn't define you Remarks doesn't contain you You want to fly high In the crystal clear sky Want to Catch butterflies And glow like a firefly!
Who says you're not beautiful Who doesn't tell it Is just a fool Rainbow isn't complete Without the seven colors What if youcompete with it As you are multicolored?!
Monotony is not the norm Isn't it ?! Nowadays. You come in different forms It's okay if you don't transform Even if you stay the same You will be a living example For those who think That it's an end game!
Look at you now Beautifully covered in art You don't need to cover up anymore You are beautiful just the way you are!
//Have lost the touch, guys,I am sorry, couldn't even scribble a line for whole month...some dear friends kept on compelling to come up with something...but I feared and feared genuinely...coz ...I knew I can't write the way I used to... Deeply saddened by the tragic death of the actor#ssr impelled me to ink as I felt quite more agitated with his unexpected end... Fighting my inner turmoil since long, these, incidents around only aggravate my pain and I felt like forcing myself hard to pen some words and result is this insanity...the rubbish... I don't know if ever I could write again...//
The fabric of hope is closely knit; A rugged companion, intact throughout Life's thick and thin. Those with tattered rags are also clothed with hope, It coronates all without discrimination, And I discard the fallacy that it can die; The sun shines faintly behind a clouded sky, Its gleam is low, but not extinct, In the first place, you can't rid of hope at will, The ties that bind us all bind hope with us, Until and unless there's at least one of us, Who has breath in his lungs to whisper, A word of kindness, Hope will live, It isn't a trait to be taught, But a raw show of our perseverance, Hope never dies, But the minds who hope surely do, With all sense of grief, a person who suicides, Commits a grave sin, hoping, that bestness awaits him, Hope transforms soul to soul, The thread of its substance loosens at times, But not for forever, If the hands that weaved it abandon it, A new pair of hands are waiting to sew it back, To fill the openings of disdain, Hope is relentless, It's a gilded sword but shapes into a silver shield too, It moulds itself to protect you, It's sinister and noble all the way, To please you, It is yours and yours alone, You nurture it like a child, with faith and belief, Or a sapling that you water every day, And it pays back with loyalty when it's a tree, In the living and the dead, it is surmounted in all, And it connects us all, to each other, We hope for a lush life, and it begets the hope, To live it with those pulseless now, It's in grandeurs and fiddling fragments, In memories and possibilities of morrow, And the beautiful part about it is that it’s quiet, And tightly packed inside our bodies, A pandemonium isn't required to ignite a flame of faith, It is an epiphany in a lacklustre moment. So if you are finding it hard to stick in, And everyone's pacing too fast, Close your eyes and breathe, It runs deep into the air, Heed to the whisper of someone's heart, And if you can't hear anyone else's Listen to yours, There's hope left in all of us, And aren't you already hoping to find your hope? I hope you are.
