how about we all admit that at some point we all lost a bond with someone this year we wanted forever.
This sort of pain we feel and somehow we just can't let go, not cos the excruciating effect is soothing but because that pain is the only connection we have to the past we wish was still present..

No matter how well intentioned we are, If we make decisions without first listening to God and following the laid down scriptural procedure, we will never solve the issue permanently. It will keep coming back. The unintended consequence of our goodness may just be the real damage

Lord Jesus, please don't let what's appealing to me lead me to misfortune and please don't let what will lead me into misfortune become appealing to me.

    Happy Birthday Temitope

In all your smartness u have managed to stay humble
The vastness of your knowledge in comparism to your level headedness still beats my imaginations
You might not be the wealthiest of friends but the largeness of your heart is indeed divine
You are ofcourse not the strongest of all but the strength of your character is nothing but deific. You have exemplified a life worthy of emulation In the academic world so much people call you prof at first sight. I wish you the best year of past years and in all its nonpareilness, may it be nothing compared to your years to come..
    Happy birthday my friend

    Technology isn't life

I had spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money.  I couldn't resist myself & asked...
''Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?''

    ''Why would I do that?''
    He asked...

''Well, then you wont have to spend an hour here for things like transfer.

You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!''

I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking.

He asked ''If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house?

''Yes, yes''! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything!

    His answer left me tongue-tied.

He said ''Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the staff who know me very well by now.

    You know I am alone...
this is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave.

Two years back I got sick, The store owner  from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried.

When u r Mom fell down few days back while on her morning walk. Our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live.

Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online?

Why would I want everything delivered to me and force me to interact with just my computer?

I like to know the person that I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller' . It creates bonds. Relationships.

Does Amazon deliver all this as well?'''

    Technology isn' t life ..
Spend time with people .. Not with device.

O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed

And when I think of God, His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And lead me home, what joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow with humble adoration
And then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art

    Foundational firmness

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
    Jesus commands my destiny

No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand
