Growing and change can be hard
But noticing the little cages you are in⛓
I can tell I've been asking the wrong ones
Wrong ones to my heart, friendship& dignity ♀️
I built a cage around them all
Breaking free has been so testing
But breaking piece by peace ♀️
Dropping chains each day can be tiring
Realizing the power I've given away
I want it back all of it
When you are comfortable with ways
Ways that are toxic and needy
That wont lead me to God or be sacred to my husband
That I'd tell my daughter not do & have made me shameful to myself
As I grow and start to reflect
I have wavered off my path of dreams
I have no regrets they have taught me
To look in the mirror and accept the ugly and beautiful things
More about me and life & most of all to LOVE ME

One man can stand in gap for a family, group, village, a city, state and even a nation before God for blessings (Ezekiel 22:30). Also note that as a man can stand in the gap for men so can a man be a curse/ pollution or an Achan in the midst of the children of God and prevent the blessing of God in lives or place the blessings of God ought to dwell (Joshua 7)

I wanted to take the time to say a prayer for all fathers as well as in advance for my husband when our child is born!
May God bless and keep you strong! I pray that you continue to be active in your children's lives. I pray that God continues to pour his love into you so that it overflows in the life of your children. That not one day goes by where the bond between child and father does not strengthen even more. Children I pray that you honor your fathers with love and respect. That you do not fail to lift them up in prayer. That God may continue to build them up and renew their mind and body. I pray these things through the name of Jesus, Amen!
Please include your husbands, fathers and friends in this prayer as well.
