A fading shimmer caught an eye.
A broken halo was found.
A sliver of silver, that fell from the sky,
Was ignorantly kicked around.
Many passed by neglecting it.
When came along this young soul.
He marvelled at this luminous, divine bit
And spent days trying to make it whole.
Finally when he fixed it all
The halo out-shone a thousand Star.
He raised the halo to the sky as he stood tall.
It's brilliance illuminated near and far!
And thus a Messiah was born!

But still needed support as a force, fuel
With no one to guide, no one to direct
I needed someone to carve me a shape
But at the end, as destiny had in its mind
I overcame all my infirmities, my faults
Survived all the obstacles, all my hopes
