Impossible Girl
This girl is impossible,
Like the mornings recollection of a dream the night before, she haunts my mind in graceful strides and fades before I blink,
An ally of the sun for sure, and how they do conspire, illuminating curvatures what compliment her face,
Those golden threads of gosomer, obedient cascade, the locks upon her head agree to bend to artful hands,
Indecisive magic are the color of her eyes, from ocean blue to meadow green, their dance remains eternal,
And finally, from God himself, a voice that moves my heart, her songs would lyric stories while her soul would rise to speak.
This girl is just, impossible...
And yet I can't resist, friend or foe I'm still unsure, but my heart demands the risk.

This poem depicts my first impressions and feelings I had towards a girl who went on to become my best and oldest friend. I met her in the 3rd grade and have been friends with her ever since, so that's 19yrs now! We've both changed a lot, but through it all we remained in touch. Do you think being multi talented is an easy task?

I think I found my hidden talent
That I so desperately wanted to find all my life.
You made me feel happiness
Happiness I cannot feel with anyone else who tries
Unless I surpass it myself.
You,
An advocate for committment and communication,
Gave up.
Just like that.
You made me believe you were different, but just proved yourself no different from the rest.
But I am proud,
For I found my hidden talent;
I turn good people bad.
I am a reason they disbelieve in a future together.
And the worst thing is,
I don't even try.
I'm a natural!
Every bad thing that happens to me is all my fault.
I am the cause of my own unhappiness,
And others' unhappiness too.
All my life,
I've been jealous of those naturally talented at something.
But right now,

And yet so down to earth,
She's been mesmerising everyone,
Ever since the day of her birth,
Her shy smile is more valuable to me
Than the Kohinoor Diamond's worth,
Her delicacies are so delicious it makes a man
Dance with glee and mirth.
Paints like an angel,
And like a devil does she debate,
Her opponents piss their pants,
When she starts to dictate
The flow and the war of words
With which she seals their fate,
And a nature so lively,
One simply cannot hate.
She aced even classical music,
And she dances just as well,
She solved competitive books,
At an age where other children rebel,
She's always been a fighter,
She broke out of her shell,
Got back up to her feet on her own,
Everytime she stumbled and fell.
She's had to sacrifice so much,
Way more than the normal crowd,
Faced every obstacle head on,
Her valour echoes out loud,
She's one of the strongest people,
With the biggest heart humanly allowed,
She is just incredible,
And of her, I am so damn proud.❤️

Dismal days are archaic chaotic hypnotic flow
Lost in translation, complicated simultaneously conflicted but self inflicting affliction I know
Broodingly myopic misplaced topics accumulate in this brewing state of mind, lost inside this head of mine
Darkest of darks before the sunrise and another day begins but seems so old
Sleep deprived glossy eyed, depression consumes these insides
There is no elixir
What hope is there to make any of these symphonies any better?
Falling through this wet dark lost abandoned city
Lost in a time warp wallowing in all this misery
I'm a ghost decapsulated hope trapped within crushing sensory
Entropy would be a welcoming joy
Self emulate it, regurgitate it if only it would come to be something more than a ploy
Salutations for the change if at first I don't concede
Succeed in the latter, lunacy like the Hatter
Shatter my memories, transmute the pieces into antimatter
I mutter all of my failures, juxtaposed with some laughter
But nothing is still something because nothing is me
I'm empty
And the paradoxical limbo repeats
