Emotionally strong people are flexible. They know that change is the only constant in life. Accept that periodic transitioning is a necessity and unavoidable part of life. Embrace it and be not afraid to love and tell the truth.

You love her, you hate her!
She comes unknown,
With a mask so familiar,
Seeping into your life,
And before you know
You are somebody else.
Smiles are forgotten,
Friends are distanced,
New people forge a bond,
Life is not the same.
And before you know,
You are miles away.
Creeping in like a fathom,
Clever she is,
She can be evil, she can be kind.
It's under her mercy, you will live.
And before you know,
You have embraced her.
She will be here,
Promising to stay.
And she will keep her word,
Through your blood and greying hairs...
And before you know,
You have acknowledged her.
You hate her,
You love her,
You want her to stay,
You want her to leave,
And before you know
You will realise she has been there
Right from your birth
You will realise she will be there
Even at your death
She is called change
And she is the only constant.
