Belief is a funny thing
For the more I believe, the more my heart sings
Less of the darkness at night keeps me up with worry
The more I see the brilliance of light cast upon my dreams
Resurrecting emotions I once thought lost
Come flooding in like the dawning of day after the storm
Every night I pray for you to return to me
Lately the belief that our reunion is destined soon makes my heart beam with the love I once knew
Being away from you has taught me so much
Never to take for granted how much your love comforts my days
How the warmth of you near lulls me to sleep each night
Laying my head upon your chest has always felt so right
The dream of us together again is soon to be our reality
For now the distance between us is just a formality

I lost someone who was dear to me, I grieved on his demise but as the days passed by, everything healed though it left a scar.
A garden of memories is created where I take a stroll with him frequently. We walk, talk and laugh while reliving our memories but when it's the time of his departure, my heart fills with grief.
It's a wake-up call from my Dreamland and move back to the real world where you have become a memory now. When I'm back to this incomplete world, I look at your portrait and smile thinking it's time to move on; it's time to let go.
Maybe it's time to carve my path without you and reach my destination where you always desired me to stand. I'll reach that pedestal and look over the skies and quote,” I hope you were watching me from heaven while I was paving my road and now, I have finally reached the destination. Rest in peace grandpa, your last wish has become a reality.”

Hey! I miss you. Yes that's right, I MISS YOU! All those things you used to tell me, all the feelings you used to make me feel, the way you looked at me, yeah i miss you. I planned everything, EVERYTHING with you, the present and the future. I get it you weren't happy with me but why? What did i miss? What did i do wrong? I miss the time we used to spend together, our laughs which turned into cries, our endless giggles while looking at our pictures or talking about something stupid, the way we spent hours and hours doing nothing just because we liked our company. Gosh what happened to us? I miss your smile. That DAMN GOOFY SMILE that made me fall for you, your bright blue eyes which were deeper than the oceans, your hair, god everything was just so perfect and magical with you. Maybe that is why it ended because good things fall apart. I thought we had something greater, something purer than love. You were my happiness, my world, my everything. I could feel myself with you. You brought out the best in me. So it's fine if you are happier now with somebody else. I love you, so just know if anything happens in the future I'll be there for you always and forever♥️
