Conjunction
centuries apart,
it occurs to us in hindsight,
as time & space refuse to co-exist amidst this revolution,
that the conjunction of despair and planets
is an indicator of a universe beyond our imagination
and pain beyond our limits of endurance.

Genuine human
You dont have to be positive all the time. It's perfectly ok to be sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared and anxious. Having feelings doesn't make yours a negative person. It just makes you a genuine human.

You feel like the soft breeze brushing through my frizzy hair as we drive past crowds that are oblivious to the sound of our hearts beating in sync.
You feel like sunlight after a dark, cloudy morning
and the way misty drops on blooming flowers form a circle of endless possibilities and hope.
You are the weight that I carry when I feel light-headed and low,
You take me on an adventure of tales I could have never experienced on my own,
We walk hand in hand through the vast enchanted woods,
I pause to look at the vigorous trees that spread upward more & more -
I wonder how your petite figure could ever hold a heart as steadfast and strong to its core.
You are the mirage of a water stream I see in a desert of helplessness;
With you by my side, even the deserts would blush away to the echoes of our laughter.
As we come closer to the rising changes in seasons and the setting sun,
I pause again to look into your deep dazzling eyes -
This time, I wonder if we'll ever meet again in our dysfunctional, disordered lives.
Unknown of the outcome
I spread my arms far & wide,
I embrace the rainbow above us
while the rain washes off our tears of goodbye.

it listens but never learns

it's naive and immature.
it tends to forget that there are stronger and better hearts,
they don't compare to its insignificant beating and wailing.
and yet, my silly heart continues to tumble for the tricks played by the mind.
my silly heart forgets that trust broken once can never be restored
it lets the mind play it over and over again,
but never complains
because my silly, silly heart knows nothing more than to love and forgive.

this pain has no boundaries -
it forgets its limits,
it's oblivious to the thin line
and crosses it into confined spaces
this pain has no edges -
it shuts the doors to sweet harbor,
and sits in a corner to wither
and shrink
this pain is unmoving -
it tricks the motion of the breeze
to keep itself from a wheeze of fresh air
this pain is everlasting -
it refuses to co-exist with time,
days and hours are a myth under its reign;
it only believes in the power of infinity
this pain is a recluse -
it has no doors or windows;
it stays aloof and guarded
in fear of being approached only to be abandoned
this pain only recognizes the sound
of a heart shattering and breaking into pieces
it does not dance to any other form of music
