Reflection of our hearts
Love your enemies, He said. But how can you love those who hurt you, who break you and destroy you? How can you embrace those who curse you? To the point that you can't love yourself anymore because your dignity went down to the sepage.
This hatred, this condemnation in my heart. I thought this would give me comfort and peace but it didn't.
I let it settle deep within my heart and my mind until I became the worse version of who I am.
It's hard to be kind and to love them. But it is ultimately worse to allow your actions and reactions to control you, consume you or cause you to act someone you do not want to become.
Our words are a true reflection of our hearts.
Be positive, be positive, be positive.
Don't pollute your mind.
