Let me capture you
As I woke up today to a serene room,
No chairs no sofa, no furniture,
Felt the world collapse like impending doom
How do you say goodbye, and endure?
Do I say 'It was a pleasure" and walk away,
Or do I use words that mean more when said less?
Do I praise your poise or your glamorous aurae
But how do I immortalize you? Capture your finesse?
Foolish was I to try to think a thousand pictures would do,
For it lacked the very soul, One I fell with in love,
Let them pictures burn, rather have a second with you,
Imprison you in memories, memories my treasure trove.
