"What are those in the sky?" asks a kid to her mom with innocent eyes."
"They are the angels that departed us but keep watch from lightyears above"mother sighs.
"Is dad up there too?
Can he hear us from below?
Does he not wish to come home?
Does he not want to wrap me in his warmth? Does he not want to see my grades?
Why mom why does Dad stays this far away? Does he not know how much I miss him?
Does he not know how I pen down words for him?
Does he gets the balloons that I release on his birthday?
Does he gets my letters that I decorate staying up all day?
How will I know if he misses me still?
Will he send me letters or daffodils?
How will I know when he will be back?
Will he call us to stay awake?"asks the kid feeling distressd.
"Hush little princess. Seek not answers, for I am naive to retort to your quiddity", mother says.
"But I need answers as I feel flummoxed" urges the daughter vexed in her thoughts.
"Hush little bud need not you worry, for when you will make a wish you'll see magic", says mom with blank red eyes.
Resisting those tears she adds,
"Dad loves you and sends you his wishes,
for when we go out, don't you feel the warm and golden sun rays.
He bids us adieu with the mesmerizing twilight.
When he misses us his heart fills with clouds.
He weeps with joy and craves for your touch, for when you feel the raindrops don't you feel loved?"
"Dad loves you dearie and wants you to shine, for you may not see him but he's up there at all times.
He'll meet you one day, i assure you on that, when you'll want something that I will be unable to afford.
You'll see a star, with a light only to grab your attention, fall from the sky
that will lose it's spark due to caducity on it's way,
never will it twinkle in the sky beyond that day instead it will grant your wish and hide in the lap of the midnight sky.
"What will I call it then oh mother?" with wonder asks the child.
Smiling at the innocence of her lass mom replies,"You'll be calling it a shooting star
and Dad will be happiest to see you prosper".
